\n\nPatients often refer to the infertility calendar. This has certain dates where infertility patients struggle to cope and just want to fast forward until those dates have passed.\n

\n\nChristmas is difficult as everywhere you turn, there are cute kids enjoying the festivities and it breaks your heart.\n

\n\nYou pray, you makes deals with yourself and just make that wish for a Christmas miracle. When will it be your turn to join in and have a child to enjoy?\n

\n\nNew Year rolls in with new resolutions and new hopes and dreams.\n

\n\nBut Mother\u2019s Day is the hardest day of the year. It highlights the one thing you want to celebrate the most, being a Mother.\n

\n\nThis past year has also compounded the problem, Covid-19 has shelved so many plans. Maybe your fertility treatment was one of those parked? You probably feel like the goal post is moving further away?\n

\n\nFor the last couple of weeks, the adverts scream of family and love. You feel isolated. Even if you are able to see your family this year, that has its own hidden dangers.\n

\n\nWill one of your siblings use this day to announce their pregnancy?\n

\n\nWill a family member who is unaware of your struggle, blurt out those dreaded words, \u201cSo, when are you guys having kids?\u201d\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\nKeep the faith that next year will be your turn.\n

\n\nTo our previous patients, we wish you a very Happy Mother\u2019s Day, you deserve to enjoy every ounce of happiness.\n

\n\nTry to look at Mother\u2019s Day in a positive light. You are a Mom in Waiting. You already know what it feels like to love the child you are trying to conceive. You already know what it feels like to care more deeply about this than anything else.\n

\n\nSo, please don\u2019t let the pandemic stop you from having treatment. The body clock doesn\u2019t stop for Covid-19 and nor must you.\n
